Google shows that N11VX was originally issued to a DC-6B, which this 
obviously isn't. A little more searching down the results page reveals 
what this aircraft actually is.

Fuselage looks rather Vans RV-ish, but definitely not the wing.  
Hrmm... Vans Fuselage and DC-6 tailplanes...  That's the ticket!
